FRINGE BANG STYLE

Fringe Bang Style: The Perfect ’09 Cut

Jennifer Anniston wore it and it styled perfectly. Why not you?

Fringe bang hairstyles are cuts that have so many fun variations--great for the young ladies and those in their teens. The cut goes well past the eyes and redeems a few facial features like a high forehead. A subtle style can go with straight and wavy hair. But don’t sprint to your hairdresser just yet. There are a few points you have to consider before undergoing the razors.

For manageable straight hair, the bangs can go at any length depending on how you feel looks good on you. But, for disheveled curly or wavy hair, a shorter and blunter cut would be ideal. To complement the effect, trimming asymmetrical and angular cuts is best. You can also have it highlighted for a more dramatic effect.

Popular types of fringe bangs are shattered, side swept, choppy, and extreme asymmetrical bangs and fringes.

Shattered or disconnected bangs: cut extreme angles that drop sharply on the sides
Side swept bangs: sweep off your long length bangs to one side for a classy and elegant look. This is best for thick hair because it offers lots of movement.
